Haley Fine Art is delighted to join with Corcoran in presenting Alumni. The show features the work of six regional artists; Alex Bay, Caleb Fey, Charles Flickinger, Thomas Mullany, Maggie Rogers, and Rex Slack.
November - December 2011
Haley Fine Art will host a solo show for phenom realist painter Drew Ernst. Awake is the highly anticipated show for coveted works by this regional artist. While Ernst frequently paints larger-than-life, Awake will offer a glimpse into a more intimate perspective.
September - October, 2011
Cast Light signals a major shift in the artists work. While his palette remains substantially intact, subject matter and interpretations give way to an entirely new look. Stephen’s strong brushwork; long a hallmark of the artists style, is marked with a smoother blending of color and line.
Selected works by long-time Rappahannock artist Rex Slack will be exhibited through the month of March. His most recent paintings, which are primarily nocturnes, highlight highway or roadside imagery done from memory and based on rural scenes that are emblematic of Rappahannock, in which he has lived for almost 35 years.
